I’m Adam and I’ve worked at director level at a FTSE 100 media company; independently as a consultant industry and in the not-for-profit sector, most recently as director of partnerships and innovation in the charity sector.

In my personal and working life I believe in setting goals and being values driven. I like to incorporate creativity and innovation in all that I do and want to have a positive impact on the people I connect with.

I experienced my own health issues when I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes aged 35. I realised, as is the case with most chronic illnesses, that it was most likely stress induced. My reaction to the diagnosis was, at first, to prove that my body could still work, so I signed up to the London marathon. I’ve since run more marathons; competed in triathlons and am a regular cold-water swimmer and can be found most mornings at Brockwell Lido.

I’m also a seasoned yoga practitioner and convert to meditation as an extraordinary life skill. I understand that many of the yogic philosophies are very relevant today to help us deal with the pressures of the world.

Taking inspiration from the stoic philosophies of Marcus Aurelius and Seneca through to modern business leaders, my approach is to combine a focus on mental energy and physical conditioning with innovative business principles to enable clients to thrive in all areas of their lives.

I am an ILM Level 7 qualified executive coach and a member of Association for Coaching and abide by their code of practice.
